Adam Tenforde, MD
Dr. Adam Tenforde is the director of running medicine and shockwave medicine at Mass General Brigham Healthcare. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Harvard Medical School and a sports medicine physician at Spaulding Rehabilitation within the Mass General Brigham healthcare system. Dr. Tenforde leads clinical trials in Achilles tendinopathy, knee osteoarthritis, and bone stress injuries. He has delivered over 200 talks including keynote addresses, visiting professorships, and hands-on instructional courses. Dr. Tenforde has authored over 200 peer-reviewed publications and more than 100 scientific abstracts, and he brings a unique clinician–scientist perspective shaped by his background as a former Stanford All-American runner and U.S. Olympic Trials qualifier.
