Faculty will discuss hallux limitus, wound care, global foot and ankle instability, contemporary surgical topics, and advanced management of Charcot foot. The program will also emphasize limb-salvage strategies that may help prevent avoidable lower-extremity amputations. Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this seminar, participants will be able to:

  1. Evaluate patients with hallux limitus, foot and ankle instability, chronic wounds, and Charcot neuroarthropathy using appropriate clinical, biomechanical, and diagnostic criteria.
  2. Compare conservative, surgical, and reconstructive treatment options for selected foot and ankle disorders based on pathology, disease severity, patient characteristics, and available clinical evidence.
  3. Develop multidisciplinary wound-management and limb-salvage strategies designed to promote healing, preserve function, and reduce the risk of avoidable lower-extremity amputation.
