Upon completion of this seminar, participants will be able to:
- Evaluate patients with hallux limitus, foot and ankle instability, chronic wounds, and Charcot neuroarthropathy using appropriate clinical, biomechanical, and diagnostic criteria.
- Compare conservative, surgical, and reconstructive treatment options for selected foot and ankle disorders based on pathology, disease severity, patient characteristics, and available clinical evidence.
- Develop multidisciplinary wound-management and limb-salvage strategies designed to promote healing, preserve function, and reduce the risk of avoidable lower-extremity amputation.
