Alex McKanna

ALEX MCKANNA, DPM received his BS in biology with two minors in chemical instrumental analysis and Spanish at the University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL and attended medical school at Dr. William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL. After graduating in 2015, he completed a three-year residency at Franciscan Health/Midwestern University. He is board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in foot surgery and rearfoot and ankle reconstruction. He has a special interest in pediatric podiatry focusing on lower extremity conditions in children. He has professional memberships with the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association, the Association of Extremity Nerve Surgeons, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and the American Podiatric Medical Association. He specializes in diabetic wound care and limb salvage and has been in practice since 2018.
